What is the equal in LED?

A question we get asked more than any other "what is the LED equivilent of my bulb". For normal incandescent bulbs simply divide the wattage by 8, this will give you a rough estimate of the LED wattage you will need, for example a 40w incandescent divided by 8 needs about a 5w LED to replace it. For other light types see the table below.
